Chainlink Expands DeFi Access to U.S. Equity Markets with 24/5 Data Streams
Chainlink has launched its 24/5 U.S. Equities Streams, bringing real-time market data for U.S. equities and ETFs to decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols across more than 40 blockchains. The new offering enables 24-hour access to critical market data, including bid/ask prices, trading volume, and market status flags—breaking the traditional limitations of standard U.S. trading hours.
Already adopted by platforms like Lighter, BitMEX, and ApeX, the service leverages Chainlink's Data Standard, which has facilitated over $27 trillion in onchain transactions. The MOVE effectively bridges the $80 trillion U.S. equities market with the rapidly growing DeFi ecosystem, unlocking new possibilities for onchain derivatives, prediction markets, and structured products.
